Many of our products come with a guarantee or warranty from the manufacturer. In addition, they come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably forseeable loss or damage. If the goods you buy break down or develop a fault within an unreasonable time, you have the right to negotiate:

  • a refund (or part refund depending on the age of the goods)
  • a replacement,
  • or that the goods be repaired.

This is provided that you did not cause the fault and you used the product as it was intended. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase.

You are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

You get a national manufacturer's warranty with all goods purchased on our website. So you can take comfort that buying online will give you full Australian warranty coverage, the same as if you picked it up from the store yourself.

Warranties vary for each product, and full details are contained in product packaging, but the key points are displayed on each product page on this site.

Some manufacturer's warranties are "return to base", so you should try hard to resolve the issue over the phone with the manufacturer's technicians first.  You would be surprised how many issues can be resolved with a screw-driver in one hand and a telephone in the other!

However, in the event that the product needs to go back to the manufacturer, you will need to arrange this (the manufacturers have bases in most Capital Cities).

Other manufacturers (such as York and Healthstream) have a roving network of warranty repairers. Although they too will try to resolve the problem on the phone or by sending you out parts. If this doesn't work, they will arrange a repairer to either visit your home/work-place (except in far-distant regional areas), or attend to the warranty repair at a nearby location.

Again, all warranty details are included in paperwork with the product. Not only do they vary between manufacturers, but they vary between products, and they are often very detailed, so if you need more information than we can provide, you may need to contact the manufacturer directly.

Refunds Policy

You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods:

  • are faulty
  • have been wrongly described
  • are different from a sample shown to you,
  • or do not do what they are supposed to do.

We do not normally give refunds if you: simply change your mind, or make a wrong decsion
